was formed in 1989 by some guys from Hasenberg and Hackenberg. At last they enlarged quickly to Radevormwald, so that the band was situated in the musican golden triangle of the „Bergisches Land“.

The rare equipment at the beginning was easy to carry in the basements where the local music history found its start.

Inspirated from many bands which the members of T5 have seen live at „Die Börse“ in Wuppertal they found their style in punk rock music.

Crawling out of the cellar holes with the energy to create something large they found their drumer, which was another step to become more professional. Also a new contract for practising in a professional rehearsal room at the goods station in Lennep accelerated the development of their music, so that they had after a short time their first gig. The house where they played was demolished a short time later!

The legendary gig at the „Post“ in Lennep with 500 noisy fans was also their last gig. The band broke up partly and found never again to their climax they had before.

In 1997, many years after the seperation of the band, T5 released their only cd in cooperation with „Bauernzimmerproductions“ in limited edition.

The name of the band describes the medical examination result of the Bundeswehr, the so-called Tauglichkeitsgrad. This is divided into different levels. The capability level 5 means incapable of military service.
